Obviously I'm having a "I don't want to be at work day today".

On my car ride back from lunch I began thinking:

I wonder how many combinations of numbers you could have for the lottery (the big ones) and how much it would cost.

Then I wondered if the amount of winning (because OBVIOUSLY I would have won) would pay off the total of the lottery tickets and if there would still be enough money for me to stop working for a while (or just get a part time job).

They probably made it illegal somewhere though.

Yay for daydreams!!

Unfortunately, I remember from one of my math classes somewhere that the possible combinations of lottery numbers is such a HUGE number that I can't remember it...
So even if tickets were only a penny each, the winnings wouldn't pay it off...

I'm in the "I don't want to work" mode, too... That's why I've been on here for two hours! ...working, yes, but mulit-tasking...

We'll have to scheme other ways to win the lotto!

someone , or i should say some group did it. I saw the the amount of work and people they had to get to cover every number. and they still did not, but they hit it, and no one else did.

Hmm...I figured someone else has already tried it.

it would definitely have to be a mega millions lotto to even come close to paying all the tickets off, and then knowing my luck, someone else would have played the same numbers so I'd have to split it anyway

That true to.

Actually another co-worker and I began discussing it. Basically its too big of a $ to figure in our heads. We're counting though that it would basically even out.

OK back to the drawing board...

What a shame, that sounds like an almost good idea. And I'm another that doesn't want to work... I just had a week off for Spring Break and I'm currently counting down til the next day off, which I believe is Good Friday.

Sigh.
