It's a Lumix (Panasonic) DMC-LZ5. It has 6 megapixels, 6x optical zoom and image stablization. My old one has 5 mp, 3x zoom, and no image stablization. It's still a nice camera (well, except for the broken zoom button ), but this one has a few more bells and whistles, and I think it may be easier to use once I get it figured out. It even has a ''beginner" setting on the dial . Here's the thread I started about it a couple of days ago:

I'm still excited about it! It got pretty good reviews online, for a point and shoot camera. .

Our digital camcorder has one of those buttons! I keep calling it the stupid button but I think it's the easy button?

Well, your photos are great, I'll check out the link, sure would like to have a digital camera next.
