Here when a woman needs to be monitored so closely they admit her to the hospital for the duration of her pregnancy. On the perinatal ward where I work there are some women who have been in there for 3 months because of complications with their pregnancy and the need to be on bedrest.

I hope things improve for you and that you can carry the baby for the 2 or 3 weeks longer that is needed to allow her to gain a bit more weight.

*hugs*
I think the reason for this is because I live across the street basically from the hosptial so they where like well she knows where to go and I told them I have 3 kids and no plans made yet. so when I get to go to doctor appt it is at 9am and I get to go in a room where I can lay down like the hospital does to monitor the baby for 1 hour. They let me take a nap or read in there. I will get food if needed. It is just like being in the hospital but I can go home

My sister-in-law had the same problems with blood pressure, etc. and ended up delivering prematurely after almost a month of hospital rest, and although my nephew was only 3.5 pounds when he was born, he had no health problems and only had to stay in the hospital for a few weeks, untile he gained up to 5 pounds. He is 6 now and healthy as can be. You're going to be just fine and so is baby.

Do you have any family or friends that can help watch your children, help with housekeeping for these last few weeks? Take many deep breaths and relax please. Sending vibes to you.

My friends went through almost the exact same thing (daughter born premie due to mom's high BP, weighed about 4 lbs at birth, and is now 3 y/o and the healthiest little kid we've ever seen).
You and Abby and your sons are in my thoughts and prayers. {{{{}}}} Cannot wait to see pictures of your beautiful girl once she decides to make her entrance!

I have never went through the whole blood pressure thing, but have went through pre-term labor.
It's good that you are laying on your left side, makes the blood flow and all better for Abby. Also, laying on your back can cause LOTS of problems when you are that far along.
You said you sleep with a bunch of pillows.Do you sleep/lay with 1-2 under your belly? And then 1-2 between your knees?I found that was the only way that I could sleep during the last part of my pgs.
Did they give you a monitor to keep a record of the BH?
I'd stay away from sweets/salty things for a bit too.
Hon, I have been holding you and Abby in my prayers EVERY night and I will continue to do so.
If God sees fit that she is born early, then know in your heart that she NEEDS to be.At 5 pounds, she is a good weight.
PM me if you feel the need to talk to anyone.

My BP isnt due to salt or my weight. I am actually a good eater and all my stuff is excellent but it is what they call heredity and that makes it hard to control. I have 9 siblins and 8 have the same thing and I had a stroke and my 38 yr old brother had a stroke and my mom at 40 had a heartattack and I can go on. In my family we live to be almost 70 and the heart gives out. All of us have it and well it is taking its toll on us all. I am on BP meds 5x a day during my PG but when am not PG it is 2x a day and more controlled. It makes it difficult to do a lot of excersice and stuff cause ya feel your heart race and then you know to bring the nitro on. That is why I plan to get my tubes tied because I can not do this again due to my heart.

I will say I am happy today no clue why and I have spunk the BF said. I got in trouble for trying to clean the fridge this morning at 5am was sent back to bed and talk Taffy the guard kitty is watching me and will tattle if I do anything else but go potty and get my water. I am so bored
I want to do something I am like wound up. I feel there is stuff to do and I need to do it NOW. see I think you all make me in a good mood. sorry my brain is really in FF and making it hard to type. LOL

Aw, I'm sorry I missed your post yesterday, you must be so worried! Are you on anti labor meds (can't remember the term...) those made me feel all wired up and crazy. Lots of hugs for you and Abby and strong vibes for Taffy to keep you in bed, LOL!

If you are in that "cleaning" mode, it's not far now.
Just do as your Dr said and take it easy!!
Has your Dr. suggested a Hyster due to the complications during pgs? Or do they feel a tubal is good enough?
Good luck sweetie!
