Has anyone heard of what herbs are bad for cats? I'm planning a herbal garden and the only plant I am not planning is cat nip( it would not last two minutes)

I been looking but have not found anything about cats and herbs. Lily plants and some of others non herbals I know of, but bad herbs for cats? I have not heard of any.

Thanks ahead of time.

Duke and Sibohan like to eat parsley... the basically sniff anything else like basil, mint, camomille etc. but didn't eat any. The only thing I would keep out of an herb gardin is of course the nip and also lavender it's not poisonous
but Sibohan nawed on it one day and was sick

I do not know for sure what is a herb and what is not but here is a list of plants that are poisonous. As you have already mentioned, lilies will have your cat pushing up daisys. Here are the others:

Azelea, rhododendron, foxglove, milkweed, yew, misteltoe, Castor beans, cycad, sago, zamia, autumn crocus, oleander, philodendrons, pothos, shefflera, dieffenbachia, mushrooms and toadstools, onions.

Herbs are the type of plants used normally in spicing up food, medences and many of your perfumes and beauty products. Anything from roses to basil. Some I know of, some I have to watch for. But the main one I am looking to add to my garden is pennyroyal. It is an herb you can use against fleas. Since it is natural and I have had it before with a great reducation in fleas around my house. Right now we need at with flea problems even with the flea meds we use are just not working right.

Thanks, I will add them to my list of no goes in gardening.

I think you can go on the poison control website to check??
Rhubarb, spinach, most ivies, Datura, castor bean may cause problems.
