Hello from Texas!

Hello All,

Just joining TCS today and wanted to introduce myself and my kitties. I'm Angie and live in Houston, Texas with my 8 kitties. My kitties are Gabby, Simba, Nala, Chandler, Joey, Dylan, Brandi, & Baili. They range in ages from 6 to 11 yrs old. Dylan is my "baby" at 6. Gabby is the "Matriarch" at 11 yrs old. All of my kitties are rescues with the exception of Nala who is a pure-bred Maine Coon--she stole my heart when I visited a cat show about 9 years ago and came home with me.

Gabby and Nala are both IBD kitties. Gabby was diagnosed 7 years ago, and Nala was diagnosed about 5 years ago. Chandler had surgery in October to remove calcium oxalate stones. Between the 3 of them, plus regular visits for the rest, my vets know us really well .

5 of my kitties are black & white, while Chandler & Simba are both brown tabbies. Nala is a brown patched tabby Coon cat.

Well, I could go on for days about my furry kids so I'll stop for now .

I'm looking forward to hearing more about all of you & your kitties!

Sounds like you have a great fur family! We have 3 persians and Lexi is the stray I adopted because she was such a sweetheart. I live in Killeen, Texas. So I'm only a couple of hours away. Post some pictures when you get a chance!

Great to have another familiar face! I've been here about a month now and it's starting to feel like 'home'. Thank goodness I will still be able to keep up with your kitties and Debbie's kitties too!

I'll definitely get some pictures of my gang up as soon as I can........I have plenty to pick from--they could probably tell you horrror stories of how Meowmy follows them around with a camera .

to TheCatSite and may we congratulate you on your nice little family and the wonderful care you give them! ("LITTLE?", you say, incredulously? Yes, LITTLE. Look below and count!) All 9 of The Nine are rescued, indoor-only and spayed/neutered, of course. Meowmy isn't from Texas, but has people there, and lots of friends there as well, so may we be "honorary Texans"?

We can't wait to see photos of your clowder, if you wouldn't mind sharing, that is! Enjoy the forums, and we sure hope you do go on for days about your loved ones -- there's nothing we love more than sharing cat stories! except for BEING WITH 'EM!
