my rat josh is gonna die soon, he's like 3 or 4 years old, he alway's sleeps and never eats, we took him to a vet (the only one we found that would do a rat) and the doctor said theres nothing wrong with him, he's just getting old. i love
this rat, my mom's friend, when him and his bro's were just born my moms friend decided to throw them over a fence becous we diddnt want them, i wanted josh tho,but ten min. after she threw them over the fence josh comes running up to our front door lol he's the only one that came back, since then he's been one of my best friends
im gonna misss him. but atleast i got the new babie kitten
but still cant replace josh

Awww I'm sorry to hear about Josh.
I've got two mice who are getting very old too. I know how heartbreaking it is. The rodents don't have a long enough life expectancy do they? Mice and Rats are great pets!

I'm sure he's very grateful for all that you have done for him, and when it is his time he will be able to rest in peace and play happily over the rainbow bridge.

aww I am sorry to read about Josh - he is still having loving & happy times with you
Give him some tickles from us. When the time comes
I am sure he will pass peacefully in his sleep, he´ll run over the Bridge to play with all the other critters that will be waiting to meet him

Have you any pictures of him that you might like to share

Poor Joshie. 4 yrs is a long life for a rat.
I love my rats. Ihope they live to the ripe age of 4. My eldest is prob about 18months.
Just give Joshie lots of love Good food.(I hear they like tinned baby food) And a nice warm comfy bed.

4 years is a long time for a rat to live, you have done an excellent job with him.

I just lost my rattie girl Rosie unexpectedly last week.

Sending lots of good vibes to you and Josh.

Aww I'm sorry to hear that. 3 or 4 years old is very old for a rat though, and it sounds like you gave him a very good home. I was so sad when mine passed away, thier great pets.
