Pogue is clawing the couch..

She is only scratching on one side of it, a friend of mine wifes told her that there is a spray you can spray on the couch and the cats hate it and will stay away..

Anyone heard of anything like this?

My wife cannot remember the name.. Something with "off" in the title..

Sorry, I can't help with the name of the spray but have learned from folks on this site that there really isn't a magic spray that works with cats.

I have a scratch post on the side of my couch and trained my cats to use it. If they start on the furniture, I immediately redirect them to the scratch post. If you don't give them an alternative, nothing will stop them from scratching the furniture. It works - I have a large household of cats and none of them are declawed, yet my furniture is intact.
