So I emailed Jean George yesterday

Yesterday I ran across Jean George's website. I have loved her My Side of the Mountain books since I was very young. I saw she had an email set up so I emailed her telling her how much I love her books. And to my surprise, she emailed me back today! I was and still am so delighted to have one of my favourite authors write to me.

That's so exciting! I remember reading a book, Something Borrowed, by Emily Giffin. At the end, there was a survey and I did it online. As a thank you, she sent me another copy of her book to send to a friend. Then, months later, she sent me a "preview" version of another book that was about to come out. I thought that was fabulous. I mean, obviously she sent it to lots of people, but it still made me feel great!

I read and love all three... I think she's a great writer!
