Ive been trying to ween myself off milk chocolate onto dark chocolate so i am eating a little less sugar and eventually get off it all together. Hasn't exactly worked. I bought a couple of blocks of dark Lindt choccie. 70% and 85% cocoa. I didnt know you couldnt eat it! Lol. The first one was so bitter i only had one bite. So yesterday i ended up grabbing a fudge recipe off the net and made a rich choccie/coconut fudge. I am Tristans and im thinking no one will have eaten it by the time i come home tomorrow...it's so RICH! What am i going to do with a 20cm x 20cm tray of fudge that is about 2 inches thick!?!! (and im hoping it actually set lol)

HEEEEEEEEELP

You put coconut in that fudge?
Sacrilege! How could you?

My Mom however loves coconut and applauds you. She'll be over as soon as she can.

Movin' on up!
WHY can't you eat the 70% and 85% cacao? I do. Last night, at Cost Plus World Market, I saw 90% ones and may go back on payday and get one.

BTW: Hershey's now has truffle nuggets: dark chocolate wrapped around a truffle center.

I love dark chocolate, I usually get 72% for my chocolate fix
but would have some 85% in a flash! You can eat it, it's just not to everyone's taste

I want some now

I LOVEEEEEEEEE dark chocolate. Rarely ever eat milk chocolate anymore. The darker, the better!

I am seriously addicted to the dark chocolate truffles from Godiva and go at least once a month and get a half dozen

I used to get some extra-dark Bourneville chocolate from England that I just loved, but have nobody over there to send it to me now!

As i said in my post, it was too bitter for me, my tongue just can't handle the taste

I am so not a chocolate person. My BF needs to know some is in the house, but this is all beyond me. It really does nothing for me, though I know it is supposed to trigger comfort/pleasure centres in your brain.

If I'm in the mood for dessert (almost never) I'd go for chocolate and really rich vanilla ice cream. You can't go wrong with this combo. Add a raspberry or strawberry and you've got gourmet!
