Taylor and Gunner are great kitties with unique habits. I just felt like sharing what my boys do.

Taylor always greets me at the door when I get home. Gunner continues to take his nap in my bed most of the time.

Taylor likes to be in the same room as me 95% of the time. If I am sitting on the couch in the living room with my legs propped up on the ottoman, he likes to curl up into a ball between my legs. I swear he generates enough heat to warm a small city when he gets in that position.
If I pet Taylor while he is in this position he usually tries to clean my hand.

Depending on how I am sitting on the couch, Gunner wants to sit on the back of the couch with his butt on the couch and the front part of his body on my shoulder. I think he likes surfing the web with me.
Otherwise, he likes to lay as close to my face on my body as he can.

Gunner will give my hand little love bites if I am petting him and stop, but he still wants more. Gunner LOVES neck and ear scritches! Taylor does not like neck scritches. He does like ear scritches but not all the time.

Gunner always sleeps in the bed when I go to sleep. He usually visits me at the head of the bed for a bit and then settles down at the foot of the bed. Taylor usually likes to curl up in my pants, sweats, shirt, or whatever I throw on the floor before I go to bed. On the weekends when I wakeup, Gunner and Taylor are usually sleeping in the bed with me. I think I get up too early during the week for Taylor. LOL

When Taylor was younger, he used to LOVE licking the water off my feet and ankles after I got out of the shower. He has outgrown that habit.

When I get out of the shower and I am getting dressed in my room, Taylor lays in front of my closets on his side. We've developed a routine where I pet him with my foot for a little bit.

Both of them are talkative. Taylor will squeak on occassion and I can usually get him to talk to me if I make eye contact with him. Gunner talks all the time, especially when he wants wet food.

If I find a plastic bag somewhere in the house where it should not be, I know Taylor did it. If I find toilet paper shreddings, I know Taylor did that too.

If I accidentally leave cat treats out and find the plastic can/bag all chewed to death, I know Gunner did that.

They both make biscuits on me when they are getting "me" fluffed up for their lounge spot.

I'm sure there are other things I'm not thinking of right now, but this post is too long already.

that was really well written, sometimes it's hard to read really long posts about other people's cats - but that was great...can I piggy?

Unique things about Stoli and Luxor:

In the morning - DH does the mass feeding and poop scooping so i can sleep, because i'm a grump. When I get up Stoli and Luxor both come running up the stairs to greet me and I jump into the shower.

Usually I hear them rumbling up and down the hallway and on occasion Stoli will jump into the shower with me - between the curtains so he doesn't get wet.

as I'm getting ready Stoli will roll around on the floor on my pjs and wet towel. Once I'm ready and trying to brush my teeth - Stoli wants to be held so I carry him around and try to do things one handed. Luxor is usually pooping again or grooming.

On my way out I clean the litter boxes and stoli sits in front of the door as if to say 'please do go, play with me'

When I get home, Stoli comes running and wants to be held and kissed and thorougly enjoys this. Luxor just squeeks and gives me head butts.

After the feeding the playing begins and Stoli and Luxor take turns annoying each other. Luxor is usually the instigator by chasing stoli's tail. If I'm up later than Stoli wants, he'll come and sleep on my lap until I go to bed.

When I go to bed - Luxor comes up and snuggles with me at the foot of the bed. Sometimes Stoli comes up and starts jumpin up on everything, wanting to play. If he doesn't stop - he get's locked out for a little bit,

but at the end of the night, Stoli and Luxor usually are laying side by side at the foot of the bed . . . .

Please do.
I could have probably grouped things together better. Paragraphs are a godsend when it comes to long posts.

D'aaw... you've given me the warm'n'fuzzies!

The simple fact that you notice and seem to love all of your kitters's idiosyncrasies speaks volumes. You must be a very involved, loving owner!

Yup, mostly browsing for now... and wondering whether or not I can wait the five months to bring a special kitter into my life. Sigh.

Why do you have to wait 5 months to get a kitty?

In September, I'll be moving into an apartment that allows dogs and cats... right now I have a miniature poodle that I've raised, and with a two pet limit, that leaves me the chance at having a Meezer again.

My landlord right now (house) is fine with dogs but is rather anti-cat... which is part, but not all, of the reason I'm moving.

Your babies sure sound cute, and have a daily routine..
Jack-my 11y/o, comes to be with me everynight and sleeps right by my head next to my pillow.

Dexter-4y/o, now is starting to want love all of the time..He will come and sit by me or walk on top of me (he weighs 15lbs) and just lay on me..At night, he comes for his nightime love and then sleeps at my feet.

Sheeba-4y/o, is my tortie, and she wants love on her time only, but when she does, she if all in my face. She licks my earlobes so much that is hurts. She has recently started sleeping on my pillow with me, usually with the backside right in my face..She is also my faucet drinker..anytime I am in the bath or kitchen she waits for me to turn on the faucet slightly for her to get her drink.

Emily is my new addition, and she has not yet developed a "routine", but she is my talker..and is wanting love all of the time..but you know that I don't mind.
