Louie jumps into the window, to share in the sunlight, but he brings his defense to the forefront of his game....

LuckyGirl comes back with some offensive sniffing of the seat stealer....

A tongue to the face, she feels he needs some last minute grooming....

They notice a noise in the hallway, "What Momma?! We weren't doin' nuthin'!"

LuckyGirl does some last minute stretching.....for one final round....

Hiiiii-ya! One last ditch offensive sniff for Louie.....

Louie gives us his sad defeated look..... *notice those stunning green eyes, we never get to see them in pics, his eyes are so sensative to light/flash...aren't they beauties???

And the queen champion reigns in her favorite spot!!! There is a bird feeder on the tree outside this window....and tons of wildlife....so they usually battle it out for this window.... for some reason they are not good sharers.

And notice how big he is? She is 8 1/2 lbs and will be 2 this Aug/Sept....he will be 1 on June 30th....he is almost 9 mos old....and 7 1/2 lbs...

I don't think he's "deferring"
He just knows better, that's all....LuckyGirl will put a whooping on his butt!
Although, he gets her sometimes....

Thanks Eva! They really are beautiful....but I can never get them in pics....he hates too much light in his eyes.....And they go from dark emerald green to a beautiful almost clear green.....

Tonight they were fighting to get in the window so they could see all of the sleet outside....we have 4 inches of frozen ice out there....so much for my flip flops!

That is such a sweet picture, poor defeated baby.

Wow - if you consider your Louie big, my Ferris is HUGE at between 11-12 pounds and 9 1/2 months old!

I did not expect defeat from the pics. I really thought they would start grooming each other, and both sit in the window together...I guess in time.. Both of your kitties are beautiful..

It's a rare occasion to see them cuddling together.....she will groom him from time to time....but she has an attitude while she does it, like it's "work"...

Your captions are priceless Heather
you know, I started taking pics thinking maybe, just maybe I could get a photo with the 2 of them together..... I got a ton of photo's, but I couldn't get 1 single shot of both of them looking at me at the same time...

Can you believe my little boy is going to be 1 year old on June 30th?
