What can you not stop listening to?

Does this happen to anyone else?

I hear a new song or work and/or I get a new recording or CD (well...recordings ARE CD's...silly ALlie!) and then I just CANNOT get enough!

What are you musically hooked on right now?

For me, it's TV on the Radio...and their album Return to Cookie Mountain. I wish I could describe them well...it's indie art-rock. A little bit like The Arcade Fire, if you know them. There's a song on this album called "Wolf Like Me" and it makes me bouncy! (Bouncy is a good thing to be exactly 24 hours before sound check!!)

I could listen to her cd 24-7!

But when Corrine Bailey Rae came out, I was totally hooked on her too!

Right now I'm in the mood for old Whitesnake, when the band was blues rock, not the icky late 80s glam hard rock stuff.
Before that I was hooked on Vintersorg and Borknagar stuff for a few weeks.

I'm reliving the Nilsson era. I loved that guy... and what a gorgeous voice!

DirectTV was showing a live concert recorded in Manchester; Gorillaz Demon Days. I loved it, and bought the album. That led to the Good, the Bad and the Queen. I love that guy's voice, I can't think of his name right now.

It happens to me a lot... but the songs change all the time. I'll get hooked on a few songs for a while, then move to something else.

Right now, I'm hooked on some 60s / 70s music, especially Simon and Garfunkel (I've had the song "Cecilia" stuck in my head for days now ) and Harmonium (a French-Canadian band... I'm pretty sure none of you has heard of them before. But their most popular song, "Pour un instant" is one of the nicest song I've heard)

No Surprise by Theory of a Dead Man. Love this song.

I was listening to Nelly Furtado's CD over and over and over again and just switched to JT's old CD before I never wanted to listen to Nelly Furtado again

currently it is Hinder's extreme behavior that i keep listening to over and over

For me its Lilly Allen. I LOVE her. Next would be the Surf Punks. Theats pretty much all I want to hear right now. Its driving my DH nuts. He likes them both too but not all day every day.

oh gosh! I haven't listened to Josh Groban in forever, might have to dig out his CD next
