Heidi is a hungry horace

hi all

Heidi has been eating like a horse for the past week all she seems to do is follow us and eat her food as soon as we have put it down to her.

as im new to the cat thing i dont know how much to feed her and how many times a day. she is only 6 months old but my goodness she eats like our old dog who was a belgian shepherd and ate 1 large tin a day and dry food lol.

she has the vets on monday for a check up and what i need to get done for her (spay and jabs)

Kittens will eat alot ... shepards eat quite lightly for there size usually

I have free fed Persi dry food since I brought him home at seven weeks of age. He can eat anytime he wants (and does). He is still under a year old and I may change what I feed him at a later time but for now he is still a growing kitten. He is not at all overweight and otherwise very healthy. I do not think what you describe is not normal for a kitten.
