Does anyone one here live on a farm, or have farm animals? My family has cows and horses, and the yellow tabby cat we have aboslutely loves them. It is the weirdest thing I have ever seen. He is truely a yard cat, even though he has been fixed. He will not stay in the house! If you bring him insdie, he will pee all over everything until you put him back outside. We live in Ga, so the cold is never a problem for him. We have 3 inside, but he prefers outside. I have seen him a lot lately sleeping in the hay that we put out for the cows/horses. When the cows and horses eat hay, they leave holes in it with their noses, and the cat loves to sleep in it. They do not seem to mind Barney being in their hay either, they just go right on eating. He also stays in the barn a lot. It is the weirdest thing though, he will go and rub all over the cows and horses legs. I guess he does not realize they could step on him. They do not pay him any mind though. He was wet one afternoon when I got home from work, and I am wondering if he was messing with them at the water trough and fell in. I would have loved to have seen that! I wonder what he would do if I put him on the horses back next time I go riding. Whenever we go out to put new hay bales out, or puor out feed, Barney goes right with us. He likes to ride on my dad's golf cart. but the noise the tractor makes is a little much for him I think. My mom gets worried when she can't find him, but I walways tell her, go look in the pasture. I was just wondering if anyone else's cats do that too.
