Is it ringworm?

Around a month ago, I noticed a round, red, crusty patch on Ripley's neck. It had a sticky crust on it which then peeled off. I took her to the vet, who said it was probably the result of a scrap with her brother (it's true they are often biting each other on the neck when playing).

Since then it's healed up a lot, the 'spot' is now a smaller circle, not red at all, just a patch of healthy-looking skin where no hair is growing. It's been a month - does it take that long for the hair to grow back? Or is it a skin condition or maybe ringworm? The patch is about the size of a 5p coin (sorry - English coin size!)

Ripley has no more patches like this on her body and Freddie doesn't have any.

Just wondering if I should take her back to the vet or not - thanks for any advice!!

If you're worried I'd definitely take her back to the vet. You can't tell with these things. Either the skin was damaged & the hair will never grow back or it may take longer or something else entirely.

That doesn't sound like ringworm, but to be certain take Ripley to the vet again. They can do a Woods Lamp test and/or a fungal culture to determine if it is ringworm.
