So I went on amazon looking for a fantasy novel I got interested in while at the book store. Amazon's main page when it loaded up had some cat books on it and I found a lot of them interesting. I will list them below in case someone else is interested or if they might already have them. What do you think? I'm excited. I'll have plenty of books to read and I know a lot of them will be tear jerkers.

Let me know what you guys think. I can't wait to get them and won't know which one to start with.

Uh oh. I wish you hadn't started this! I've got a bit of a book fetish and keep telling myself that I can't buy any more. Looks like I'll be breaking that resolution yet again.

There is a book (not specifically about cats though) that I've really enjoyed called Becoming a Tiger (http://www.amazon.com/Becoming-Tiger-Baby-Animals-Learn/dp/0060934840/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-4872566-5882330?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1173918097&sr=1-1 that's all about how baby animals learn behaviour appropriate to their species. It's got a lot of fun stories about different animals messing up what is usually believed to be innate behaviours. If anyone does read it though, don't be turned off by the really academic introduction- the rest of the book is quite accessible and easy to read.

ETA: Sorry I have no idea how to make that darn link less long. If anyone cares to explain to me how to make my post less annoying, please do share and I'll fix it as soon as I can.

Yup - they look great! I have a serious book addiction too, but I solved my problem by joining the local library! I go thruogh around 8 books every three weeks.

I'll have to check that one out. As far as the link you pasted, all I did was copy and paste from the browser. When I previewed the post it showed up like that so I'm not sure why yours turned out so long. I was afraid mine would do that also. I absolutely LOVE reading and read all different kinds of stuff. Right now I am in the middle of a patricia cornwell book. It's about a medical examiner who is called to murder scenes and they try to figure out how it happened and what the pattern is to the killer.

Yep...I also love reading, but I don't think I can match 8 books in three weeks. I read a book about a week. I usually read for my lunch hour at work and sometimes at night if I'm really into it. Sometimes I will read more than one book at one time. I remember I started 5 one time and somehow managed to keep them apart!
