I posted awhile ago about one of my cats having hairballs, so I got them some hairball treatment-the sticky kind that comes in a toothpaste like tube that you stick on their paws and the lick off. I only started giving it to them yesterday and they seemed ok with it. I don't know which one of my cats is having the hairballs, or if they both are. Is it ok to give the hairball treatment to both of my cats, if only one of them is having the hairballs?

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

This is the worst litter I have ever tried in my life. The cats don't care, but I do - it stinks to high heaven and doesn't clump at all like it claims.

Yep, it's perfectly safe. The gel just acts as a mild laxative and lubricant to help things through so if the cat who isn't having troubles takes it, it won't hurt her.
