It's so nice here in Massachusetts. It's about 70 and I've had some windows open all day. Just the fresh air...ah...BUT, it's going to be lousy all week! In the 40's and 30's, a few 50's, and Friday and Saturday we're supposed to get snow. What the heck!

I don't like being teased like this... Freakin' New England...

We're being teased in Chicago, too. It was 72 yesterday...60 today...but it's supposed to be back in the 30s tomorrow.
It's no fair...I'm SO ready for spring!

I think DH is actually having the exact same thought. He's been on a "we need a riding mower" kick lately. (We have the teeniest yard, though...he's been trying to convince me he can outfit it with a plow for the winter.)

It really is beautiful out. My husband took the day off from work and played 18 holes of golf. We've been sitting back with margaritas ever since.

I heard about possible snow

Yeah, Friday & Saturday, 2-4"

My wife keeps trying to talk me out of a mower too saying that she can just mow, especially since she's off during the summer. It's harder for me to do it. But I like to be able to do stuff myself, and especially if it's really hot out, I hate her having to do all that. We only have .25 of an acre too, but it's still big enough for one. We used to have one but it kicked the bucket.

I think we are fairly close to the rain/snow line, but I am hoping for snow.

We do have a riding mower, but it is desperately in need of a tuneup!

Well we've had storms for the last few days and this is what we're lookin' at right now...

A couple of hours ago, it was as dark as midnight...scarey...had to turn off the computer and unplug everthing. Lots of thunder and lightning...looks like its slowed down for now...

Yikes thats nuts Hilda!

It got up to 84 here today and we're supposed to get a bunch of rain Thursday night into Friday, the day of my mother's big suprise party! Saturday is supposed to be in the 40's. I'll not complain about that.

Oooh, nasty storms, Hilda. I was lucky enough to get out of Dallas before they hit, but I know Texas has had some pretty bad ones lately. Stay safe!

DH our lot is less than .25 acres, and half of it is taken up by a huge concrete drive and a swimming pool. He's perfectly capable of mowing it himself. I'd be happy to get the mower if it meant he'd no longer complain about having to mow...but I know that he'd still whine about it.

It's snowing, thundering, and there's lightning. Care to call that nice weather?

We have the same problem here. We had a thaw, then a freeze, now we are back to a thaw, and it better be here to stay because I put away all my warmies and I refuse to get them out again!

I was outside last night in just my pj's to take out the garbage and it felt so nice!

I haven't had the windows opened yet. Not until I can get the screens up properly to keep the cats inside. They hear the birds outside! This morning they were all sitting on the desk to the nearest window wide-eyed.

You were happy about 16?

They're talking 6-12 inches where we are in Mass. UUgh! We almost got rid of the last snow, just a few small piles near the driveway, and now this.

That's sweet that you're concerned about your wife mowing in the heat. Funny, it doesn't bother my DH when I'm mowing, and we have probably half an acre of lawn. Thank goodness for the great swamp behind us.(except for the mosquitos) . He had knee surgery last summer, so I got stuck with the job. Actually, I'll mow the lawn if he'll clean the bathrooms anyday. And its only once a week at the most so its really not bad other than the noise and the fumes.

And how come Karen is crossing her fingers for snow????

Ok, that's better. Maybe you should stick to lemonade, and not the hard kind. At least til we're out of snow season.
