I need help, quick! My cat has been up a tree for about five days, and she won't come down. There is no access by motor vehicles, and the fire department is no longer allowed to get cats out of trees. I'm desperate; any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you.

Call a tree trimmer company and see if you can hire one of their tree climbers to climb the tree. Most guys will do it for free. No access to say a pick-up truck going to the base of the tree and a ladder put in the bed of the truck to reach kitty?
I just had this happen the other night,my kitty was 30 feet up. A kindly neighbor brought his truck in, backed it to the tree, we put our extension ladder up and he climbed up and grabbed McGilly.
If you can get enough help- have people hold a blanket taunt under the tree to catch kitty should she leap from her rescuer's arm.
I know how helpless you feel and how scared your kitty is right now.
