A little introduction and hello to all

Well it is finally time for me to stop lurking and say hello. I have been reading here for about a month and am very impressed with the information and the acceptance of the whole community. Even the IMO forum is civil and actually has discussions not bashing. Plus, everybody here LOVES kitties and I am not the only one with a houseful!

Currently I am Meowmy (I love that word!) to 7, who are also known as the badcats. I am working on getting photos up-loaded to introduce the monsters to everyone. They are all rescues.

I look forward to getting to know everyone, new and old, and learning a lot.

Hi welcome to TCS, this site is so great and everyone here is so nice as u have seen Also u might have also noticed that this site is very informative and fun too I cant wait to see pics u might have noticed that we photos here Also beware tcs does become addicting but its a good thing well see u on the forums

thank you for the welcome everyone! I love it here already. It is easy to tell what a wonderful community this is, just by reading a few posts.

to TheCatSite and bless you for rescuing seven little angels! There are Nine rescued furbabies here, so you can see we love that kind of thing. Can't wait to see the photos of your clowder, and hope to see you here a lot!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

I can't tell you how nice it is to find a group of people that care about cats as much as I do......and don't think it is weird that I have seven in the house.

I posted their photos under the title meet the monsters....but man the fur pics pages move fast. For any that missed them they are here

I used to have 4 indoor cats, and that's not including all of the stray animals I would feed. People thought I was weird I knew someone that had like 20 cats INDOOR she was nicknamed "the cat lady" to this day I have no idea what her real name was I feel "the more cats- they merrier " Even though my boyfriend won't let me have as many as I would really like But we're working on that

WELL,

We moved here so that we'd have the space we needed for our rescues. All 21 of 'em. Twelve are now in a kinder, gentler land to the north, either adopted into new, loving homes or in sanctuary. It tore me up, but I had to do it because my husband decided he didn't want us anymore, so he divorced me and is forcing me to relocate back to the city, with its stupid quotas. Nine are going with me and will live indoors-only as they do now. We have acreage here and we converted our stables and compound into a nice secure, cat-fenced "catatat" for 12. Oh, well. I'm with you -- as long as I can responsibly and adequately care for 'em, I'd take as many as I could rescue -- if I could. I plan to work in sanctuary again someday, someone else's if not my own.

Who's PHX, by the way?

And forgive me for talking (possibly) out of turn, but boyfriends are expendable.
