I saw the footage on the news last night! They certainly sent it off in style!
OMG I did not know that
I would of made a last trip I was there on my honeymoon over 15 years ago.
They also covered that on UK news this morning - the way thsoe guy do that is amazing ! Bet it wa something to see
my news never showed it
That's where I stayed, on my last trip to Vegas.

It was pretty bad off in it's last few days.
It was bug infested and a very strong moldering smell permeated the place.
I remember it back in the 70s though, when it was still a hotspot (before they tried to make Vegas a 'family place').
I think though that it was the last of the original Vegas strip.
I know the Sands is gone, I think the Flamingo as well.

The others are so damn expensive.
