"bank" your points?

I'm a little crazy about this and try to bank them whenever I hit 100 points. I don't know why, but I just do, and hate it when it gets higher than that

Please tell me that I'm not the only one thats obsessive in this sort of way?

I honestly couldn't even tell you how many points I even have right now.
Guess we'll see when I click 'Submit Reply'. I try to bank them when I think about it.

Okay, this is going to sound dumb....why do you bank points? Can you use them if they're banked? How do you get them out of the bank. At what point should you bank them? How often do you get interest, and how much? Oh, so many questions!!! I guess it's rather obvious that I'm pretty new to all this!

If you click on bank it will show you the next interest payout time. I think it is every 2 days? When they are banked, you earn 2% interest on them which makes up for the tax on the gifts!

I never remember to bank them.
Normally, I'm rather anal about things like that, too!

Dang y'all...I'd never banked mine at all! LOL! So I guess I'll go do that...

...the only question that doesn't seem to have been answered so far is can you still spend them after you've banked them?

Sure - you just withdraw them from the bank and then you can spend them. I try to keep as many banked as I can, for that interest! but if I want to buy something I just pop in, check out the price and withdraw enough for what I want.

Whenever I remember, it's not like I have tons of points compared to most people.

I have never banked my points.
I guess it's a good idea if I want to buy more than one gift for people.
