I am sorry to ask again so soon after my last plea!

Radar has been very sleepy and low energy all day. Naturally, I am beside myself with worry. He has perked up a little bit this evening, is using the litterbox, is eating and showing a bit of interest in the bedroom door (beyond which is Sonic's domain, obviously they are separated at the moment in case Radar is ill). But he has just not been himself. This could be because he had a very manic day yesterday, first of all my parents came round and were here during the time that he would normally be sleeping during the day - and he's not one to rest while we have visitors, he becomes very overexcited when there are guests, and then he had a 2 hour wrestling session with Sonic later on.

He is looking a bit more active now, but when he is normally a little firecracker and then is inactive all day it is a worry. Please could I have some vibes that he is back to normal tomorrow? Else it will mean a vet visit which we can ill afford right now (although he will get whatever care he needs, but it's going to be a stretch for us financially if he needs it, you know how it is!) and worse than that the thought of him being ill is gnawing away at my insides.

I also have the interview for my job tomorrow so if there are any vibes going spare then a couple in that direction couldn't go amiss - although as I was saying to Nate earlier, there are other jobs, there is only one Radar - so concentrate the vibes on him first please. Vibes that he just needed to catch up on sleep that he missed yesterday due to all the activity at times when he would normally be sleeping, and so is just tired.

Sending prayers and vibes that precious Radar feels better tomorrow, AND for your job interview! (per request, more prayers and vibes for darling Radar
)

Penelope goes like that with crazy days then despondent days, so don't get too worried yet. He may have just been too wild yesterday.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
If he had a wild day yesterday, he's probably just pooped!

Sending positive light and vibes Radar's way. And of course I'm sending vibes that all goes well with the job interview!

I don't have a digital thermometer to take his temperature, but his ears are cool, that's a good sign isn't it? He nodded off in front of the bedroom door, normally when he and Sonic are in seperate rooms he sprawls out and puts his feet under the door and chirps, this isn't normal
I have done the 'scruff test' and he's not dehydrated, and he is at the desk now grabbing my fingers while I type.

I hope I am reading too much into this and that it is nothing, I notice and amplify in my head every little change in behaviour of all my pets

all I can say Epona, is that you are a very vigilant kitty meowmy to notice these little changes! I honestly think he is just tired, and will go back to being your crazy broccoli-stealing Radar tomorrow

Many vibes that your boy is just tired.

Good luck with your interview!
Thank you!

He ate at lunchtime, gobbled down all his wet food, hasn't eaten as much of his dry as he usually would but he is having some now, he gets that early evening but there is usually some left for snacks in the night anyway, we are due for his wet dinner in 10 minutes so I will be keeping a close eye. I think he was a bit nauseous earlier, I have seen him licking his lips and crouching down as if he were going to vomit a couple of times this evening. He hasn't actually vomited and he is using his litterbox as normal for both pee and poop. Nate tried playing with him earlier and said he was 'interested but halfhearted about it'. Since he's eating and urinating/defecating it's not an emergency right now, just 'a bit off colour' would be how I describe it, fingers crossed he is just exhausted from yesterday's excitement.

I really hope it is just tiredness, he is eating a bit of dry right now. I was raised with birds (my mum's brother was a good budgie breeder and my mum has always had birds as a result, and I have had birds all my life, budgies and others) and if there is any creature that hides illness more effectively than cats, it is birds. I was raised doing 'poop patrol' (sorry if that sounds gross) and checking for any slight change in energy levels and weight with the birds, so I am well trained for spotting any slight differences - the thing that tipped me off was that he didn't run out of the sitting room this morning and I didn't get my cuddles, he just slept on the sofa next to me. As he is still eating, using the litterbox, not vomiting, and doesn't have a fever it is not an emergency situation and I will re-assess him in the morning. I have a job interview but Nate is on late shift so can take him to the vet in the morning if he hasn't perked up.

If it helps 8-Bit has days like that too... also remember that the weather is changing so he may be affected more by that than you know.

Thank you
Radar is now scoffing his wet dinner, although he went to the litter box a minute ago and seemed to take a long time and a lot of digging and scraping and repositioning to do his no.2, maybe he is just a bit constipated
I hope it is nothing more serious than that. The interview - well I have been doing the job for 2 years already I sort of feel like if they want me to carry on doing it I'll get the job, if not there's very little I can do about it at this point and a good interview won't save me! I think they'll just be asking me questions about death and that is my specialist subject so to speak (I know that sounds odd, I will explain if explanation is required!)

Hmmm... Radar was quite lively when I got up this morning so I thought it was all back to normal

Since then he has been sick and just returned to sleep though I've had to tell him off for climbing onto the top of the bookcase and trying bite my legs so I think he might be feeling better
