You know, you just gotta keep believing....and plugging at it. Post a lot. Mostly post about how you've never been spotlight. What is your favorite day of the year, and why?
Chrismas because it's WICKED AWESOME and I get to give everyone all the completely killer presents that I've bought them. I'm all about giving people great unexpected presents!
Tell us a bit about your home life...married? Children?
Living with someone for 2 years this april....he claims we'll get married at some point lol. No children here or on the way yet (knock on wood, this is not the time!) but I definitely want some. Probably 4, depending on finances. I love kids.

How much time do you spend logged on to TCS per week?
A few hours a day....a lot of it I spend "lurking" and reading around, which is why my post count isn't so high.
Tell us the most harrowing experience you've ever had (if you care to share it).
I almost drowned. Which is ridiculous, because I was a lifeguard and a swimming teacher and I put myself in a stupid, potentially deadly, situation. While vacationing in Mexico, my family visited a little shop on the seaward side of the island of Cozumel. My brother, then 14, wanted to try surfing and they rented boards. They asked if he had done it before, because the ocean wasn't calm and they said it would be difficult and possibly dangerous (of course, they made it clear they would have no liability). He claimed he had, a lie, because he wanted to try. But he wasn't able to get the board past the breaking waves.....they would broadside the underside of the board. I told him he needed to keep the nose down, either by pushing it or by flipping under and using his body weight. He begged for a demonstration, so I went to change into my swimsuit. When I came out, he had it down already, so I went for a swim and decided to see just how hard it was to swim past the break. Answer, not hard at all. Getting back in.......not so easy. I would approach the break, be swept back with the gathering water, then dumped on from above as the wave broke. Having my contacts in, I couldn't open my eyes, so I'd have to be still underwater to see which way was up based on how I floated....and then swim in that direction. I tried it a couple times without making progress. Then my mom started whistling, signalling that I was too far away. Now, my mother had a sister who drowned when she was sixteen and it occurred to me in that instant that my mom was going to have to watch me drown. I got so close to panicking. But then, I said to myself "If you panick now, you WILL die here, so just SWIM." So, I went all in and did a hard front crawl toward (angled) the shore. It took about 4 straight minutes of very hard swimming to make it in to shallow water. But I lived. And I'm here to tell you, don't swim past the break in a turbulent ocean. It's just stupid. And if you're in a life or death moment just remember the words of Douglas Adams: DON'T PANIC.
Celebrity of my dreams, huh? I'm not so impressed by actual celebrities as by their projects and skills. I guess, right now, I'd love to talk Grey's Anatomy with Shonda Rimes. Yeah, a rich one who would let me drive his BenzHonestly, I really just consider actors to be regular people with public jobs....so I wouldn't really care much as long as they were decent neighbours. I'm not that far from Toronto, so CN Tower, Skydome (I don't go in for the fancy commercial rename, it'll always be Skydome to me) and all the lovely attractions that T.O. has to offer.

I got an autographed Grey's Anatomy script for christmas. Also, my parents paid off my car a year or so ago!

A makeup kit, because I don't wear makeup.

I don't know offhand. I like the smell of the refridgerator at the florist because my mom is a florist and the smell reminds me of when she would take me to work with her when I was little.

Don't wear jewelry, except friendship bracelet type necklace made of string. I have really sensitive skin and tend to get rashes. I can't wear rings because my circulation is too bad in my hands.

Well, I'm not a people person, so I guess it would be that I'm not "nice". I don't really empathize well....it requires effort. And I don't waste that effort on people I don't care for. Actually, this is something that I am comfortable with and like about myself, but other people find me tactless or self centred. Of course, those are people I don't like, so I don't care........
Do you play a musical instrument?
Guitar and piano.
Do you normally cook, get take-out, or go out to eat?
I cook dinner every day for my charges, as it's part of my nanny duties, which means that, although I'm an excellent cook, when I get home I buy take out far too often.
What is one thing you spoil yourself with?
TV....love it! Probably because I don't really like socializing, so this is a safe environment for me to fufill my human relationship quota or something. lol

Coke or water. Occasionally milk.

I drive about 10 over the speed limit in general. It's a bit faster than the limit, so I don't make people behind me mad at me, but not fast enough to be pulled over.

Love watermelon, but I'm allergic to it. Actually, I have fresh fruit syndrome, an allergy thing, so I can't eat many fresh fruits and veggies without having a reaction (itchy throat and ears, it's REALLY annoying and sometimes painful). I like apples, but I absolutely can't eat raw ones because they give me chest pains.
