Today in the mail we got a gift certificate to amazon.com from our cable company for not switching. It is worth $20 and I have no idea what to get. I want of course some kind of book dealing with cats.
I don't know any specific names, but I know there are alot of really good cat books out there....try just going to amazon.com and putting in a search for cats and see what you get.
Maybe some of the other members here will have a few suggestions.
That was nice of the cable company...gee, maybe I ought to threaten to switch!!
I just received 2 books from Amazon.com the other day. The ones I ordered were "Cats for Dummies" and "The Cats IQ". I first started the IQ book, but found it was a little dull...but's its got quizzes that you can take to see how smart your furbabies really are! I found that all three of mine are geniuses (sp?)!!LOL! I've only gotten half way through it so far...it's just hard for me to "get into". As for the other book, it's really interesting. It's got a lot of useful information about cats, but it also has a lot of common sense type stuff in it too.
Just thought I'd share those with you...let me know if you get these books too, so you can tell me what you think of them,OK?

I have bought cat books from Amazon.com in the past and I know they have a large selection to choose from. I have always found the customer reviews and experts from the books interesting and helpful when they are available.
Look in The Cat Site's Shop page. Anne has quite a few books highlighted that come highly recommended. And, if you click on the link from here and order it that way, The Cat Site gets credit for you using a sponsor click. (Shameless plug, you know.) I was looking at a few last week and Think Like a Cat, and Hiss and Tell both looked really interesting to me. I have Cats for Dummies, too, and looking at it now I think I've learned most of what they have in it on here, and more than they have in the book too!
