Someone got mugged out my window yesterday night...

I wanted to make sure and read the police report... and yep. I heard a bunch of commotion outside the other night and looked out the window to see the cop pull up. Turns out someone was mugged on the street. (And was idiotic enough to pull a knife on the two would-be muggers )

I know it happens very often around here, it's just never been THAT close. And you know they're never gonna catch them.

Funny, I was just talking to my friend about how she wanted to go to school here but has no idea how she could live in the city. She's amazed that I'm not scared more often. And I'm not. If this happened last August I'd be scared to sleep or leave my apt, but now I'm just like... meh.

I'm sorry honey! Just stay safe okay?
