Spring is coming upon us at TCS!!!

And with spring...well, there will be kitten threads. Lots and lots of kitten threads!

Just posting a reminder to all expectant grand meowmy's to spay and neuter...it's what is best, for a variety of reasons listed over and over again in this forum, among others on TCS!

But of course, there will always be the "oops" litters that we were trying to avoid, or the pregnant feral cats, or the neighbor's pregnant cat, and so on, and so on.

Please keep your pregnant cats indoors, and if the time for delivering the litter is near, please set the queen up in a room that set-up for a safe INDOOR delivery.

Now, in the next several weeks, and into the summer, I'm just going to lay back in my computer chair with my big bowl of popcorn, and watch for the influx of pregnancy and kitten posts on this forum...it's right around the corner!!!

You are right, it sure is right around the corner (myself currently taking care of a pregnant stray). I know how important it is to spay and neuter as all of my cats are neutered but this one we just took into to our home. I do, however, love to see all of those brand new baby kitten pics. This is one of my favorite forums. Happy kitten season!

Spring is here indeed!! It's funny, I had just made plans to get a Ragdoll kitten and this girl came into our life. She would have ended up having her kittens in the alley or bushes somewhere and next year...more kittens. I decided I couldn't buy another kitten when so many homeless cats need homes. Darn!!! I really wanted another Cassidy.
On the upside- babies are so irresistable and fun to watch grow.
