Do you know when you've had enough food or do you eat till you can't eat anymore?

DH complains that I eat like a bird! Course he doesn't complain when he gets to finish my food! So the answer is I stop when I've had enough. course, then I want my snackies later, although I don't do that as much anymore as I used to - those chippies aren't good for you, you know!

I went to an Indian restaurant for my mother-in-laws birthday on sunday and ate four portions plus some of someone-elses so I guess my answer must be that I eat til I burst

I never really eat till I am stuffed, I don't like that feeling I am not a real big eater anyway.

Colleen? Some birds can eat more than their body weight each day (high metabolism).

Sometimes my taste buds argue with the tummy because what I am eating tastes sooooooooooooo good. (Like Fazzoli's all you can eat breadsticks. . )

Most of the time I do pretty well by stopping when I've had enough. There are certain things though that I will make a total pig out of myself over! Luckily its not very often!

I eat til i feel like I'm going to burst usually, or at least i eat everything in front of me, which at most restaurants and my mom's is way more than enough I need to work on this also, jeans are getting a little tight lately

Well it all depends on what I am eating. If we go to a buffet, I cant ever go up for food more than once, or twice,hehe...I probly dont make it worth the $$$.

I think I'm somewhere in the middle. I don't necessarily get stuffed, but I do eat too much.

Well, let's see, I'm on my second plate of BBQ'ed veggies, does that answer your question. My poor tummy! But they are SOOO good!!!

I usually cook enough just for me since I live alone and I usually eat everything on my plate. I do overeat and that's why I need to lose weight, darnit.

Lately I've been watching what I eat, so I try and eat visually smaller portions. Other times I will eat until I can't eat any more, which because I'm eating smaller portions, happens quicker now. My eyes definately used to be bigger than my stomach

I eat small amounts every few hours. If I wait too long I get nauseous and it's very difficult to find anything appealing to eat.

Even when we eat out, I end up taking a lot of my dinner home to munch on later or the next day. I never eat until I'm really full!

I learned really bad habbits as a child (ie. I wasn't allowed to leave until my plate was cleared, but my dad would give us a grown man's amount of food to eat ) and so now it's been really hard to unlearn it, but I'm starting to change the bad habbits I learned as a child. Sometimes I overeat and sometimes I stop when I am not hungry anymore. I also try to drink more water if I am really hungry because a lot of times we mistakenly think we are hungry, when our bodies are really just thirsty.
