Here are some pictures from Niagara Falls. I have a ton more that are all posted on facebook so if anyone wants to see just add me. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=510606547

The bed in the hotel room.

The jacuzzi in the hotel room.

The Skylon Tower. It sort of looks like someone is jumping off, but I think it is just a bird.

The falls.

Harry Potter at the Wax Museum.

My boyfriend pretending to be tortured, although he doesn't look tortured.

Me on a big chair at the Ripleys Believe it or Not museum.

The gorillas that were beside our table at the Rainforest Cafe.

Yeah we stayed at the Super 8 Hotel. We had a premier whirlpool suite. It was really nice. The jacuzzi was pretty big and the room was much bigger than we needed for 2 people. It was really nice though, just a little too far to walk from the attractions when it was cold outside.

My boyfriend didn't want to drive everywhere, so we ended up walking like everywhere. We walked to Clifton Hill twice, once down to the falls, once to Hooters (my boyfriends idea) and then around that area (was like an hour walk). Way too much walking, but it was exercise at least.

I was just reminded of a funny (in retrospect) time my BF and I had at the casino in Niagara. BF had only been to a casino once or twice before. I've been about 10 times over the years, so am a little more used to the way things work. BF left the roulette table to get some money out of the bank machine. I was left to keep playing. They switched the dealer over when he was gone (like 1/2 hour). I was losing too much so decided to call it quits. When you do this you have to leave the table. I had no choice but to move to the bar nearby to get a coffee. Of course, some old man starts chatting my ear off for the next 1/2 hour. I was concerned as to where my BF had gone, but knew searching for someone in such a huge place was pointless. Better to stay close to where you left off.
BF shows up eventually really mad as he thinks that I left the place. He had got a little extra cash at the machine (big line) and went back to look for the table he thought I was at. As they had switched the dealer, he couldn't find it. When he saw me at the bar chatting with an old man, he was completely confused and mad (as he was stressed, having looked for the said dealer's table for at least 40 minutes).
We ended up in a silly arguement over the whole thing, that got resolved eventually. The Godsend was that we left the casino early, went back to our hotel and didn't really spend that much money.
The bottom line, casinos are fun once in awhile, but also so big, noisy and stressful that they are best visited only on occasion!!! A wierd environment.

Your photos of the falls in winter look great!

The Falls are beautiful no matter the season. When Jennifer was a little girl (about 10 or so), we put our bicycles in the car and when we got there we parked a ways past the falls area, put the bicycles together and the three of us cycled everywhere that day. We had an amazing time and cycling was very safe even with a youngster.

We've spent the last few New Years' Eves at the Falls. Hubby's sister was the co-host for Hamilton's morning TV show and part of her duties was co-hosting New Years' Eve at the Falls. It was awesome - we got to go backstage and actually were onstage with Colin James and his band. There is seating set up beside the stage with black netting that we can see through but the cameras don't pick up when covering the band.
