All About Pets Show - Toronto

Well my hubby Dave isn't so keen to go. I just assumed he'd want to go with me! He went last year to the show, and feels that once is enough.
I said he should come so he and Matt can stand around akwardly together, but that didn't persuade him.
So it'll just be me.

I don't want to get anyone's hopes up or anything, but I'm going to check out if we can bring our own pets. Mika loves going out for the day with us and is extremely well behaved. She went to work with our daughter today - they are having a "bring your pet to work" day at her office. Last night we got food and water bowls ready, some dry food, the carrier so off she went to work today with her meowmy.
So am I. Russian Blue (Kass) has unfortunately had to bow out and she'll be missed.
You girls have a great time, and hopefully the guys won't find a bar and get smashed too early in the day...
DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMERAS!!!!!!
We (the rest of TCS) will be extreeeeeemely peeved if there are no photos!

Wasn't today the big day? I can't wait to see the posts/photos!
I just got home about 6 pm. Tracy, Ethne and Wendy all took pictures so I'm sure they'll be posting them soon. What a great bunch of people. Ethne's Matt was a brave soul and was the only male in our group and I have to say it was a great pleasure meeting such a cat-man. He's awesome folks - Ethne lucked out there. Beth is a lovely young woman and it was a pleasure to meet her. As always, Tracy, Wendy and Ethne were their usual warm selves. Unfortunately VanillaSugar (Julia) was with someone and was restricted by having to go by their schedule and didn't get a chance to meet up with us at the restaurant. We did, however, get to meet her and hopefully she'll be able to make it to our summer meet-up.
Wendy (Pushylady) brought each of us a goodie bag with toys for our kitties and a beautiful photo of her gorgeous kitties, Pushkin and Wiggies. Thank you Wendy - Bijou and Mika were very, very curious to get into the bag.
Tracy (Miss Mew) seemed to be in heaven with all the Maine Coons at the show and was snapping photos left, right and centre.
My hubby is already asking when the pictures are going to be put up so he can "meet" everyone.
It was a lovely (but cold) day and I'm so happy we got together. It made my Pet Show visit extra special.
