Whoops, pt 3 (Or, Okay God, learnt my lesson)

So, when my cat mama fetch got pregnant, it's the first time I've ever even been around a pregnant cat. From my posts, you know I severely misjudged when she was due.

And then tonight, I picked up Lady, who is Mama Fetch's sister. Ridgid abdomin, noticable nipples, fur groomed away from it... oh, crap.

Pounce was a very busy kitty that week or two.

Long story short, Pounce has been neutered over a week ago, and it looks like I'll be having another batch of kittens any day now.

*puts face in hands*

On the plus side, it does look like I have good homes for more than enough kittens when they're ready to leave.

Make sure they don't leave home until the 2nd vax and also have already been neutered!!!

I think I am lost. If I get this right your mom was prego she had kittens and know one of the kittens are prego.

If so I hoe you did learn that spay/neuter asap because they can get prego really fast.

Not quite The kittens are about a week and half old

What happened is originally I had six cats. One unaltered male, two unaltered females.

One of the unaltered females (mama fetch) I noticed was pregnant a few weeks ago, she gave birth a week and a half ago. I got the unaltered male (Pounce) neutered as soon as I found out that Mama Fetch was pregnant.

However, I noticed last Friday that Lady is also pregnant, and due any day now.

So basically, BOTH Mama Fetch and Lady got pregnant in the same two week span, before I realized what was happening (believe me, I didn't intend on having kittens, being that I had six cats already).

So, this is like two consequences for the price of one mistake . Luckily, I have good homes for almost all of the kittens Mama Fetch has, and leads on more acquaintences that may want a kitten. Any that I don't find homes for, I'm keeping (and getting spayed/neutered as soon as they're old enough. Heh)

oooooooooooooooooo got it now LOL wow that is a teaser on the brain to figure out. I am glad they will have homes.

Also the male can get a female prego up to 1 month after the neuter so you could be waiting a few more days or weeks on kittens

Aw - thanks for getting Pounce neutered - every one helps, you know. I had a feral that I brought home that had 8 kittens!!!! And she's still here (spayed). Let me or GayeF or TNR1 or anyone else know if you have any questions - I'm a pregnant cat & kitten buddy - & Gaye & Katie have loads of wisdom. (Of course, it looks like you're an old pro now, LOL.)

it does look like u learned ur lesson but its good that u got the male fixed, just be sure to keep him away from the females for at least a month because after getting fixed the males can hold sperm for up to a month i do believe so u dont want mama fetch getting preggy again but I am glad that most of the kittens already have homes ready for when they are ready to go from mama fetchs group but congrats on more kittens
