Don't know if it is "legal" to ask this question but does anyone know of a vet in Austin who would be extra good at treating my cat with CRF. Like suggesting something for his low potassium, etc.

I would suggest looking up feline specialist ... I imagine Autsin is big enough for a few of them... They treat only cats .... I give my CRF girl a pottasium supplement ....

I don't know of a good vet but I wanted to let you know you can have the vet add potassium to subq fluids.

I use Tumil-K (the powder, it also comes in a gel) for Tyler, one of my crf kitties who does have low potassium.

I don't know of a list of docs except those on a recommended vets list for a crf support group I belong to. If you want their url to join, pm me.

best wishes to your kitty,
