He is absolutely gorgeous... that face could heal any wound... such a doll.

I normally don't get into the naming threads, but i recently unearthed an old book of mine: Name That Cat. When I read a little of Luna's backstory, this one popped out at me: Deuces (or just Deuce)

the 'meaning' for it is fitting I think: The deuce cat tends to draw low in life. But in finding his new home, he finally pulls an Ace.

There are so many options in this book... and i have to go to work... but I thought I'd put one up for ya!

his history sounds a little like my JoJo... she spent 5 of her first 11 months in the HS... and adopted me... now, she's my little holy terror (as i was typing this, she tore past my desk and ran right into the vert. blinds and window)

Thats what I've been thinking the whole time!

He's been so good around the camera- he's such a little ham

Last night I was on the phone w/ my Grandma for a good hour, and he curled right up on my lap and slept there for the whole time Its so heartwarming to see that he's already so comfortable with us to be able to do that with me.


He LOVES the window in our bedroom- he's been up there a lot today watching the cars and people go by. I had the window open a bit and he loves to sit in the cool breeze! Its about 50 here today, so its been nice enough to open for him and Harley.







And of course, he's SO curious- he just had to be in on the action while I was unloading the dishwasher last night too!

I Like Milo

What a handsome fellow! I can't believe he wouldn't have been snatched right away.

I just have to put this out there - my hubby wanted to name Bijou "Lyle" (as in Lyle the lilac point kitty). Jennifer and I were not into it.

What a beautiful boy, welcome to your new home Luna. Since you say he is like a cream/buff color, what about the name:
Buffer or Buffy...too silly?? I'm not too good at names but thought I'd give you the first that came to me. I always liked the name of Gizmo, whatever you choose, I'm so glad you gave another kitty a home.l

I'm really surprised that he hadn't been adopted either. There were 4 other kittens that looked just like him, all lovey and wonderful. I hope they all find homes so soon
Lyle? He sure doesn't look like a Lyle! I love the name Bijou! Right now Luna is responding to the name Bailey.. I have been calling him Bailey Bear- because he sounds like a baby bear cub when he meows

I just bought that movie and that is the name I thought of when I saw little Luna! He definately looks like a Milo!

I was actually going to suggest the name Baylee, little different spelling but I thought he looked like one. He is such a cutie and am glad that he likes it there already!

You'd be surprised just how many kitties like "Luna" stay in the shelter for so long. I just don't get it. Obviously you can see how spectacular he is....why can't someone else see that the other kitties there are the same way? Oh if only you had a bigger place, right?
