This is such good news!

I too believe in fate. I think he was just waiting for you. It was a long wait for him but worth it for both of you.

I think finding Chester was fate. It took me fifteen years to decide to get another cat after loosing the last one. It was too long but worth the wait.

At the same time I have a friend who married a man with a cat. When this cat had to be PTS her husband said that he couldn't spend a night in a house with out a cat in it. On the way home they stopped at the shelter and got a cat.

Lunda sounds like the perfect match for Harley! Hopefully, all of you will heal better now with a new kitty there.....

I think its wonderful.
There's no better way to remember Davidson than to share your love for him with another cat in need. And who knows, maybe he left stayed with you long enough for this kitty to be ready to have a home with you.
Welcome "Luna"!!!

That's great news!
I think it's great that you let him pick you! He sounds like another special kitty.
I think he will help with the healing process. Although he can never replace davidson, but reminds you of him, you will be able to make new memories while keeping the old ones.

I can't wait to see the pictures and hear what his new name will be. I'm sure there will be many heartfelt stories from this little guy to come.

Thank you! We really wanted the cat to pick us, we didnt want to pick out a kitty based on gender, color or size. Whoever bonded with us, was coming home!

how wonderful that you found a commapnion for harley. Great thatyou also adopted from the HS as well. I got sugar and spice from the animal shelter too, and they are so happy. Glad to hear things are going well for all, and watch those plates.
