Far far away!
If my cat lays ontop of me and I have to move 'cause my leg is falling asleep or something a never want to! I feel guilty because he looks so cute and I don't want to disturb him! Does this happen to anyone else? At night when you are laying in bed and the cat is sleeping on you, do you not move even when you are uncomfortable? Or you are sitting on the couch and you have to go to the bathroom but don't want to get up 'cause the cat is in your lap? Or am I just crazy?!

OMG yep.........theres always lots of conversations like.....

'honey can you pass me the remote, I cant move cos Dino is on my lap'

or

'Can you answer the phone, I cant possibly disturb Miss Moofs'

even making dinner has been delayed due to cat-napping on laps
so I think you are just like the rest of us............yes crazy

Glad I'm not the only one!

there's been a few "can you get me something to drink? Sho's sleeping" or "can you go stir the food? Sho/Tomas is comfortable"

Got the same conversations here too like "can you get me some water Penelope is sleeping so nice"

or if a kitty is on each of our laps, we take turns on who is disturbed LOL.

Right now I am in bed with the laptop bc i'm sick, and they are curled up together, partially on my ankles. So I'm trapped yet again!!!!

I don't like to move when my cats and dogs are laying on me. I am such a pushover.

Yes, except my boys like to sit on my lap when I'm on the toilet....
I think I end up spending way more time in there than I might like.

I'm so bad, if one of them is curled up on the computer chair when I go in to use the 'puter, I sit on the edge of the chair till they're ready to move!

Chasey will only sleep on me if I'm at the TV,
which isn't very much, so yes, I feel guilty and try not to disturb her.

me too!
or if they are sprawled out in the computer chair, i've been known to grab our folding chair that's nearby and sit next to them.

Yep same here, if the cat is on my bf's lap, he asks me to get him a soda, and same with me. He took it too far the other night tho - I was out here on the computer and he called to me from the other room "babe could you get me a soda? I don't want to disburb the kitty". I got him one and nwalked in the room - and Wonton wasn't in his lap, he was laying about a foot away from him! I said "hey- the cat isn't on your lap!" and he said "well no, but you know if I got up it would jostle the bed and wake him"

Hubby and I call this "cat-lapped". The one who isn't cat-lapped is the one who gets up to get something to drink, etc. It wasn't too bad before we got Carly because only Much would take over a lap. But now both Carly and Much will each take over a lap so we are both stuck until they decide to move.

We are thankful for DH in our house for this very reason.

I get this too....but usually its Precious who lays full lenght down my legs and the Orange comes along and sprawls out on the top of my gliding chair...
DH always says how come they come to you and not me
, its probably because I'm less likely to disturb them for longer periods of time....they know I'm a sucker.

Always!! Just a bit ago, Luna was on my lap all curled up sleeping
I didn't heve the heart to move him, so I sat there, while my leg fell asleep

He was just too content for me to move at all!
