Good Morning! I came to you all Just about a week ago with a problem of the heart about not know when to let my sick baby go. it has been quite a trying week since then. On wednesday my little angel (and God) took the decision out of my hands. The support I got here was tremendous and again. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
So today I thought I would formerly introduce myself and my babies. Ironically enough my baby that crossed the bridge this week was named "Baby" but I always called her Boo. Short for Boo Boo Kitty. She leaves me (my name is Shelly) and the fabulous Maxmillion behind. We are freezin' here in Rochester, NY but it is supposed to get warm this week! Yay! Max seemed a little lost the first night but seems to be doing better now. I was a mess for about 2 days. Rationality is taking over and I am relalizing this was for the best as she was a very sick little girl. but evenings are still tough as she was my snuggler.
Now as for Max, I may be a biased mama but he is about the coolest cat I kow. (And I know alot!) He loves attention, the sun, anything with strings and especially his catnip mat, his little green mouse named monty and most of all his frog on string named fergus. He's a big boy. 18 lbs at last visit maybe more now. unfortunately for him he is now on a diet. the vet didn't want me to stop feeding him because I needed to keep baby eating as she had a huge appetite but no weight retention because of her tumor. I don't know if you are familiar with the weight watchers program but I told Max that now we are both counting points!
Anyway, that's us. We will be adding to our family again I am sure. we just need a little time but I am sure I will be asking for a ton of advice when I do! Thanks and Have a great day!!!
