My cat gets allergies at certain times of the year. When she started sneezing and her eyes started watering, I thought she had an upper respiratory problem. She seemed fine in the morning but worse once I got home!
I started panicking. Our favorite Vet called and asked if I had put anything new in her environment. A new fluffy blanket, she slept on during the day!!! I took it away and she is back to normal. I felt so bad for being the one who gave it to her! But of course I never imagined it could cause this reaction! I'm so glad the Vet asked me the right question!
I just wanted to mention this to others in case it's ever something vague like this that causes symptoms in your pets. It never occurred to me, but I have learned.
