Well I just bought myself a new radio for my car. The CD player in the car was shot so I just bought me a nice radio to go in the car. The nice thing about it is I can plug a flash drive into it to also play music. That and the front panel aux hook up is why I choose this one. So the hubby being the nice guy he is bought me a 1 gig flash drive to go with the radio. So thats 240 songs I can put on that alone.

This is where I need your help. I can not come up with 240 songs. So can ya'll tell me some of your fave songs. Songs from any decade is a ok. Because I like all kinds of music. 80s though are my fave music. So guys start naming your fave songs for me please.

Why do you need to have 240 songs? Just think about your favourite artists from years gone past and download songs from them.

I am really into the music from the late 70's (Disco) and 80's. I even like some of the 60's and 50's.

I can't really suggest anything other than to look for songs by the following artistis, in no particular order:

Beetles
Rod Stewart
Elton John
Fleetwood Mac
Madonna
Donna Summer
The Who
ZZ Top
The Doors
The Lord of the Rings Sound Tracks
Enya
Annie Lennox
Bon Jovi
Metallica

Movin' on up!
Anything by Frank Sinatra, Toby Keith, George Strait, Willie Nelson. I love Carole King's "Tapestry" album and Janis Joplin's "Pearl", the Eagles' "Hell Freezes Over".

Hmmm, well I know what I'd like to have on my player...but you should put what you like on yours! Just look at your collection of cds...or songs & artists that you just like and go from there...you don't have to have it all completely full!

Ah, I see. Well, I can understand that for sure!

How 'bout some movie soundtracks? I love the following:

Legends Of The Fall
Sleepless In Seattle
You've Got Mail
Forrest Gump...

Lots of great music there!

How 'bout stuff from Elvis? I love listening to his live performances like 'Aloha From Hawaii'!

Um, you can't miss with 'greatest hits' type of cds....

Beatles 1
Journey
Led Zep
Stevie Nicks
Santana
Eric Clapton
Aerosmith

Know what? I was over at the Dollar Tree recently and they have these cheap little cds...$1.00 of course
...out of curiousity, I got several and they are sooooo nice! I got: Raindance, Candlelight Piano, Panpipe Moods...all of them are soooo relaxing and lovely!

I understand what ya'll are saying but see the thing is if I don't like that song I just do not put it on the flash drive. But the up side is we all get to share and have some fun.

This is what I have on so far (well a small list):

Motley Crue
Poison
Def Leppard
Fleetwood Mac
Eric Clapton
Harry Bilafunta (I am sure that last name is spelled wrong)
Bonnie Bramlett
Hall and Oates
Journey
Meat Loaf
and more

I love the 60's music, it is just good beer drinking and dancing music.

One of my favorite songs is Run Around Sue

The first three would send me diving out the door!
Unfortunately I've seen poison and def leppard in concert many many years ago.

If you like Clapton why not some Cream?

I'm a big Deep Purple and Rainbow fan, not sure if you'd like those two. The albums with Joe Lynn Turner on vocal are more accessible radio friendly type rock.
I suggest Glenn Hughes to everyone I know, but sadly not enough people know his music

I grew up on way too much of it, so I'm not terribly fond of it now. I do like Ratt though....

Really?? You definately need some David Bowie, Mott the Hoople and Alice Cooper

Don't think my tastes would go down well and you should be driving not changing tracks every two seconds
