Anyone who has read my thread in the Bridge forum should know about my hamster Carmie. I was out today and went to PetSmart, and was looking at the hammies, and saw the most adorable little Robo hammies, and I ended up bringing one home..

The only thing he's missing is a name.. anyone have ideas??

I'm pretty sure Robo's are dwarfs.. they were all really tiny, so they might still be young? Carmie was a dwarf, and was a little bigger.

Just never heard of Robos, I haven't kept rodents in forever.
I used to have Teddy Bear, Sirian and Siberian hamsters as well as Egyptian Spiney mice.

For some reason though, this little guy just looks like a Jack to me

Robo is short for Roborovski, I believe. I had never seen real ones before, just pictures.. they're adorable!
I've had a Russian dwarf and Syrian.. and I thought the Robo's looked cute this time.

Heh.. Jack is a cute name.. I'll keep that in mind.

what a cute little guy! Hmmmm
we had an Amanda, a Butterball and a Hershey hamster growing up, and my mouse Sniffles and my sister's rat Fievel (like an American Tail) I'm so unoriginal when it comes to rodents, I'm thinking Brownie

The only hamster I ever had was a normal size brown/white banded named Peanuts. He was so friendly and special and smart that when he died, I never got another one.

Oh my! What an iddle cutie!! I had a Frisky and a Whiskers when I was growing up. I don't think either of those names fit that little one though...hmmm...how about Buzz or Zippy. The wheel pic makes me think that he's a speedy little guy!

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! I haven't picked a name yet, I'm still taking ideas, but right now I'm thinking Zippy is a really good one (MuleNag).. because he's a fast and crazy little guy.

I'd still love to hear any other ideas you have! I'm liking them all.

I still haven't decided on a name, but mostly because I've been thinking of going back and getting another Robo to keep the one I have company. So if there are more suggestions, post away! I'd kind of like to have names that go together, too.. plus that could make the suggestions more fun!
