Does anyone have any suggestions on a good movie to watch? My husband and I are big movie watchers and are always searching for a good movie! What is your favorite movie?

Pan's Labyrinth and Babel are the two I've most recently seen. Babel, I liked, but feel sort of lukewarm about anyway. The ending was bad, but I don't know if it ruined the movie or not.
Pan's Labyrinth was great! I know a lot of people are turned off by subtitles, but the movie isn't like a stereotypical art-snob movie.

My favorite movies are

Falling Angels, Great Expectations, Charade, Thank You For Smoking, Pulp Fiction, Friends With Money, High Fidelity, Empire Records, How to Make an American Quilt, Possession, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Garden State, Full Metal Jacket, Little Miss Sunshine

Some movies that I enjoyed watching...and I'm really picky about movies.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Both were good but the first was by far the better of the 2

Lord of the Rings: Exended Versions. I can't get enough of these movies. I had to go out and buy new DVDs because mine literally wore out, LOL

Chicago: I loved this movie! Musical and humour set in the 20's. What more can you ask for in a movie?

Fargo: About a pregnant small town police officer investigating a murder.

The Perfect Murder: Viggo Mortensen and Michael Douglas and Gwenyth Paltrow. Remake of "Dial M for Murder". Great book and wonderful movie.

Elizabeth I: This was a made for TV mini series. If you haven't seen it, it's worth looking for.

Also, any "Bollywood" movie. I really love those movies. Campy musical parodies. "Bride and Prejudice" was very good.

My fav. genre is romantic comedies. But of course I like almost anything. I don't like horror movies though. I'm always in the mood for a good laugh or a drama. I even like silly family movies or action. SO, like I said, almost anthing!!

Right now in my house at the movies is Ghost Rider

If you are renting a movie it is The Lake House with Sandra Bullock it was so nice and romantic and funny.

Romantic comedies...my favs!

Well then I'd suggest....

For Richer Or Poorer (with Tim Allen & Kirstie Alley...
), My Best Friend's Wedding...Meet The Parents/Meet The Fockers...Mrs. Doubtfire!

I know these are all pretty old...but they are sooo funny!

Ah...Princess Bride!

I have to agree with that! What great movies.

I like the Bourne movies a lot (Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy). One of my favorite movies is Grosse Pointe Blank, with John Cusak.

I'm a sucker for the "bad guy gone good" stories!

But the movie you MUST see, if you haven't already, is Final Fantasy VII Advent Children!

Romantic comedies: I really loved Rushmore. Also the Royal Tannenbaums (a bit of a stretch to put it in the romantic category).

I recently saw a South African film called Duma that I really liked. There's a very cute baby cheetah in that film. More of a coming of age film, but well done and some super great cheetah scenes.

I need to think on this.

You could always rent When Harry met Sally for old times sake. It still holds up!

A good "thinking" comedy is Thank You For Smoking -- a brilliantly funny dark comedy
