Silly question, maybe......

As you all know I had a cat, Miss Kitty show up here around November/December. I thought for sure maybe she belonged to someone, but shes still here Which is fine, I claim her.....anyhoo-at first I thought she was preggo, but still no kitties. Ok, so yesterday shes wondering around like maybe shes in heat? ( ya know, the meowing and such) Today I am rubbing her belly and shes kinda swollen looken, and has some boobies, and also I feel some kinda knot around her boobs. What is this indicating? I also caught her licking "her area" a few times. Am I being paranoid? I dont really have the funds to take her to the vet to see if she is preggo. I dont wanna be surprised with kittens either!!

What do I do??

the knot under her nipples , could be her mammory glands filled with milk. if thats the case then your looking at maybe a week? till she is due to have them , maybe 2 weeks. the nipples being pinker and larger then normal is also a sign of pregnancy but i have also had a cat in heat with swollon nipples. has she gotten any bigger around her belly? the sides might look bigger and may sway a little bit when she walks.
the only sure way to tell is a vet vist. if she think she might be pregnant then read the stick at the top of this board about pregnant cats and the car they need, unless you already know hehe.
