Happy Women's Day!

Today, March 8th, is International Women's Day. In some countries all the men have to give their female partners, close friends and colleagues, flowers today. So I hope that all of you can enjoy a relaxing day and ask the men in your life to spoil you. And for the men, give a little extra thought to everything your wives, girlfriends, mothers, female secretaries and others do for you and say thanks.

I got an ecard from my one boss yesterday... my other 'boss' however, we are lucky if he says thanks once a year so I won't be holding my breath for flowers!

All I'll be getting from anyone at work will be more work.

But I'll make sure Dave knows so I can get something special from him.

Ew, are you going to be makin cubs? I mean..makin Hardins?

I heard that this morning on the new. I had just stumbled out of bed and was starting my first cup of coffee and they said it was "International Woman's Day"....I thought they said "International Wednesday"! I thought "NO! It's Wednesday again????" (may I remind you I was just STARTING my first cup of coffee!). By the time I realized what they were saying, DH was already out the door, so no flowers for me. But, he did plow us out yesterday and cleaned off my car so I guess I can't complain!

Happy International Women's Day everyone! So far I've got one SMS from my ex. Not very likely I'll get anything else.

My hubby works with some european ladies who apparently "reminded" him. He called to wish me a happy day and when I asked if he was getting me flowers too, he laughed so hard I thought he would have tears running down his legs.
