and I thought he actually missed me....

Whitey has grown to become B's boy. He and B have this connection. Yes it makes me a little envious...I would be lying if I said it didn't.

So yesterday I came home after teaching class and came in through our front door (which is connected to an enclosed porch)

I see Luna laying on the couch and Whitey laying on the floor by the door. I'm busy trying to fish my keys out of my pockets and whitey gets up and approaches the door.

I'm still fishing for my keys and watching him, saying "hi" through the door, and I see him open him mouth meowing.

So that gets me excited...

Then he begins pawing at the door. I'm really excited now, my little boy actually missed me!

I finally get the keys in, open the door and he runs right past me and begins inspecting the (enclosed) porch.

Men...yes, even cat men....

Awwww, he does love you..he just is acting tough pretending not to Like most guys..yes even guy kitties

Awww don't you just hate it when that happens? Charlie is meant to be my boy but if i am at Tristans on the weekend, mum is always telling me how he curls up on her lap. Makes me sad

That's just not right! Kitters loves her daddy more than me but she still greets me at the door! Girls are so much better!

well it could be worse,
the kitty could have stood up and put the front paws on the door trying to keep you out.

I have to admit Teufel is also a Man cat, but since there is no man in the house anymore he is slowly getting used to the fact that im the only one who is going to spoil him! He has slowly started to take after kaylee of giving me headbutts and talking to me!

Before we had Bijou, every cat we ever had was "my" cat. Bijou is truly everyone's cat. He has his special relationship with each of us. During daytime hours, he wants to be near my hubby "helping" him do whatever chores he happens to be working on at that time. At bedtime he only sleeps with me. He sleeps with his head on my pillow facing me, his paws sometimes around my neck, and often his forehead against mine. He never sleeps on hubby's side of the bed. Often in the evenings he'll curl up with Jennifer while she watches TV. He loves us all in different ways and shows it.

I also never realized how "jealous" hubby was that our other cats never seemed to bond with him. I'm sure that is why he is so very, very smitten with Bijou. Bijou "talks" to him and follows him around outside like a wee dog. Hubby LOVES it.

Too true!

Nate and I got up at around the same time this morning, but he was in the sitting room first. I usually get Radar cuddles when I first go in there in the morning, Radar does not cuddle Nate much. As I was faffing about getting things organised to go to work I heard Nate's voice call smugly from the sitting room.... "Ha ha, I'm getting all your cuddles today"

Well Whitey's stuck with me today He's already whining...I'm just good for playtime to him.

Luna's my cat, so at least I can say I have faithful one here. She does curl up with B when I'm not around, but the instant I come home she acts like he doesn't even exist and will hiss and spat at him. Jill, you're right, girls do rule!
