I have a few plans for the money, but I'm spending some to get a new cat tree for Harley, and I'm going to make a donation at our local HS, along with taking them some much needed supplies, in Davidson's name

I just hope I get money back!
I get my taxes done next Thurs.

I used mine to catch up and pay a couple of credit cards off. Woohoo, more cash for me to save for getting a house!

Great cat tree! We have one from Armakat and the kitties just love it!

For the most part, our tax returns were spent paying bills, getting maintance done on the cars, but we did splurge and buy NASCAR tickets for Richmond...complete with pit passes!!! Can't wait!!!

Nuh uh...might give me away!
DH and I got one thing each, we paid off the credit card that had our couch on it, and then the rest is into savings!

I got a 19" LCD monitor and he got a new video iPod.

I paid off my credit card, bought a bus ticket to Ottawa and still have $400 left!
I think I might get some new clothes or something

WOW, hope you enjoy richmond. That is always a great race on the half mile oval. Which race you going to, the early season one, or the late season one?
For me when I get mine, I will prolly save it and put it towards my kilt outfit, or get seasons boxes sets on DVD of either CSI Miami, Sopranos, or JAG. But the kilt outift would be better.

I've never seen one of those cat trees before. That one's cool. How are you liking it so far? I might have to get Bean that one.

Movin' on up!
I bought a new microwave and TV. I also had a night at a casino but, since I WON money, that doesn't count - my "seed money" went back into savings.

I do my own taxes and have been for 7 yrs now...I was all excited...at first I was suppose to get $2200. I was like whoohooo...I can get my CC down...then I remembered I had to put hubbies income in....my return went down to $118.00
That won't even get me out of my overdraft.

I only got a little bit back, and all that is going to neuter and vaccinate Cappy. If i calculated everything correctly, I'll have about $5 left over.

Maybe I'll splurge and buy myself lunch.

I'm currently bidding on a fantastic chunky punchcard knitting machine for myself and maybe I'll buy a little Kawaii also
The rest of the tax return is going to getting new couches with the boyfriend.

May 5th! The seats are pretty high up, which I figure will be better since we will be able to see the entire track. Besides, the pit passes make up for bad seats anyday! My cousin and her husband live outside of Richmond so in exchange for staying at their house we got tickets for them too...almost $800total. But, they are buying the food and beer and have a grill for tailgating so it works out.
