My kitty has a broken whisker :(

I just came home from class and one of my kitten's whiskers looks like it's been 'snapped in half! There's a distinct spot where it broke and the last half of it is just kinda hanging there.

Oy, I have no idea how she does these things Anything I can do for her?

Aww.. kittys whiskers break or fall out all the time. I wouldnt worry about it

I see broken whiskers all the time here. I never bother with what's hanging there though. I just leave them to finish falling off naturally.

either leave it and it will fall off or clip it off, my mom has to clip her himalayans whiskers because two of them curl up and poke her in the eye and irritate it.

Sleeves has a few broken whiskers from time to time. I think he does it when he play fights with Nismo.
Im sure your kitty will be ok.
BTW When you find a whole whister on your carpet you will be amazed at how hard they are!

If its broke, just nip the part off that's broke. Whiskers break and are replaced over the cat's life. Rexes have fragile whiskers, are curly, and easily break all the time.
