Hi everyone,
It's Bling's 1st birthday this weekend - i am looking for a cat birthday cake and I am wondering if it is safe (though not healthy long term!) to give him a cat birthday cake that includes carob? I know he shouldn't have chocolate but there are these dog cakes with carob and I am wondering if he can safely have a TINY bit for his birthday?
I have done google and past thread searches but can't find any definite help on whether carob / sugar eg honey in a cake is ok?
Appreciate any input...

Are you going to make Bling blow out the candle before you let him have any cake?
I know that lots of people eat carob rather than chocolate for health reasons and I have not heard any reason that your birthday boy cannot have some. Make sure to take a picture for us!

Learn something new every day on here! I had never heard of this before, but it is interesting. I may have to check it out sometime.
