Hi all,

I'm so glad that I found your site! I don't know why I didn't think to look on the Web for a site like this before now.

Four weeks ago, my husband and I bought a retired Bengal stud kitty from a local cattery and we are having a wonderful time watching him become a family member instead of a worker

He is 21 months old and a beauty. He's been a handful to acclimate to "pet" status but he's certainly coming along. He has a sweet personality and is an amazing jumper. If you've never seen a Bengal leap straight up from a simple stand, you're missing a sight!

I'd like to know how to add a banner or a picture, like I've seen on so many posts.

Thanks very much and again, I'm very glad to have found this site!

Welcome Adrianna and family

to TheCatSite and THANK YOU for doing what you've done! I'm personally not a fan of "breeding" of ANYONE, and am so glad your little guy no longer has to go through that; I'm also so thankful he's been brought into a loving, forever home! All 9 of "mine" are rescued, indoor-only, spayed/neutered of course!, and proud to be "domestic", strong and gorgeous. We believe all cats are beautiful and wonderful. Some friends adopted a Bengal their neighbors callously unincluded from their family; I've yet to meet him, but his pictures show a very handsome guy! Hope you enjoy the forums and we'd love to hear all about your guy, see his picture, and know his name. The Sticky's at the top of the page of posts give all kinds of valuable info and advice!

Hi Tara's, and thank you for replying so quickly!

Just to let you know, the cattery from which we got our kitty is a wonderful, loving, underfoot place where the owner and her husband have actually modeled their house around the breeding cats, the kittens, and their needs. We met them and spent time there and find them to be lovely people with strong attachment and sincere devotion to their animals. I have great respect for the way in which they treat their animals, and I could not recommend them more highly, to people looking for registered kittens.

We could not afford a kitten, but we could afford their daddy
And we are waiting for his "babymomma" to become available as soon as her current litter is ready for her to leave them. She's a silver Bengal with amazing markings, and so affectionate!

I can't wait to be able to share our beautiful boy's picture with everyone! Please let me know how to do that...thank you very much!

Hi & welcome, Adrianna!! Good for youuu adopting a beautiful Bengal

We'd all love to see pics if you can share some

As for the banners, go to Forums, General, The Signature Shop, and the requests only thread... and reqeuest one if you like. In fact, here's a link to there: http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92326
and you post pictures of your cat and what you'd like it to look like.

And to post a picture - first, you need to be able to get a url for your pic.
www.photobucket.com if you don't
then, there's a square when you post a message with two little mountains and a square in the corner.... click, copy/paste the url, and there you go!

Anyway, I hope to see you around the boards!!

Thanks everyone! Here are some pics of my kitty: Canicspots Cheveyo of Brilliant! (We just call him Chevey - he's too little for such a big name!)

He also has his own blog on our Website: www.heckskitchen.com/cheveyo.html
This is where he shares his feelings about his new home and the renovation we're doing in the kitchen. Enjoy and please let me know what you think!
