Since I live in Canada, I have only been to 3 states. Florida, and North and South Dakota. Of those 3 I would have to say Florida is my Favorite. I was there when I was a kid and I had a blast at Disney Land.

Of course I'm going to say Georgia because we have the mountains and the beaches and everything in-between. We're the diverse home of Paula Deen (Food Show Network star), Julia Roberts, REM, Jimmy Carter, and Ludacris, just to name a few. Can't beat JOJA, no way, no how .

Georgia. It's where I grew up and where my heart will always be. I've lived in the mountains, and at the coastline in Georgia and they're both fabulous!

When I was a child, we lived in Missouri (birth state), Oklahoma, South Dakota, Iowa, Arkansas, Utah, California and Oregon - think that's all. Oregon has always just felt right. Plus, the people and cat I love most are here now.

I am hoping to visit South Dakota somewhere around July of this year. I always blame my freckles on the SD sun - can't have anything to do with the red hair

Without a shadow of a doubt...NEW YORK! And not for the city! It's a beautiful state, has good food and just the things I love to do. Plus my 'roots' are there.

I've lived in three, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire, and visited a bunch others. But I can't say that I have a favorite.

The only thing I really miss in this state is not being right on the ocean.

Mississippi, cause I live here.

And I like being a Southern Belle.

Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, and Minnesota. Never been to any of those, just like them for some reason.
Illinois...because I live here and most of the people and animals I love are here.

Arizona's a pretty close second...there are a whole lot of people I love there AND it's warm!
Florida... I love the Ocean and Disney World.

Louisiana. I fell in love with New Orleans and I felt like I had been there before, on the first time I went there. New Orleans will always have a special place in my heart.

Maryland, my home state. In three hours, you can go from the ocean to the mountains. We have large cities (Baltimore and Washington DC, which I consider part of Maryland ) and wonderful historic towns like Ellicott City or Frederick. Maryland has four full seasons, and in the western part of the state fall is absolutely beautiful. Plus, nothing can beat Maryland steamed crabs with Old Bay seasoning.
