I think she might be at the vet. It is 6am here. She might have decided at 3am her bed was a good place to kitten at and we will have babies. I hope to hear something soon. The discarge worries me.

Here is an update....As you all know, I called Emergency Veterinary services last night. They gave me the go ahead to wait till this morning before doing anything. Well, I called again at 7:30 this morning and actually talked to a vet, not a receptionist. She said that since we don't know an actual breeding date and since the babies are currently moving again that she isn't concerned very much. I told her that when she seemed to have gone into active labor is when she was locked up in my room and she asked if she liked being in there. I told her that she was kind of freaking about being in there and the vet said that may be what was causing all the contractions.

So, I guess at this point we are still at wait and see... I am going to try to get a new pic of her rear end. What everyone is seeing isn't blood though. It is brown discharge. I ran that by the vet and she said that is normal and okay... I guess maybe I am just a worrywart or she doesn't worry enough.

So, there it is...This sucks though, I am completely afraid to leave the house these days!

im happy to hear that everything is ok at the moment , i agree maybe they can just give her a quick check over? but i know some vets advise aginst this as it can stress them out even more. unless its an emergancy. i hope she has them soon and that there all healthy.

At least this part of it...

We are all stressing because of all these adorable babies coming into the world...I know I can't wait...BUT the REAL reason we are stressing is because we just don't know what they are feeling...I have 3 kids...I know what I felt like (false labor, bedrest and all) BUT I have NO CLUE how she is feeling....it is KILLER!

Think I'd be worried about a baby being stuck in the birth canal, especially with her having a discharge and labor for more than a few hours. Hope everything turns out OK!

Sure hope those kitties come soon! Just use your own judgement and if you feel like something is wrong, then take her in. Better safe than sorry. I would think if she doens't like being in the room you have set up for her, then let her go where she wants, maybe you can move her and the kittens to the place you have for them after?

Keep us posted!

I really agree with Jenny, I would take her in for an examination not just a phone call. I know you said you're worried about finances but this is what happens with pregnancies, they can be very costly.
