She has stopped following me around...she has alm ost stopped moving entirely! Poor thing is so pooped or conserving energy for later. She is still "twitching" but that is all I have to report. I have been upstairs getting toys/books and clothes ready to donate to help clean up around here, but she has mostly stayed downstairs.

She is pigging out, just ate almost a whole bowl of kitten chow...

and gentlemen if there are any... I think we are going to have to go back to the vet today. She is so mopey, expected, but with the history of not many kitten survivors and the stages of this labor (if that is what it is) taking so long I am getting very very concerned. Still no milk though. Maybe it really isn't time...I just wish she would stop confusing me...she is sitting next to me now and changing positions every couple of minutes because she isn't comfortable. She gets periods where genuine fear shows in her eyes, then she starts cleaning, but just for a second...then, change position again. I don't know what to do for her...

As for babies, still moving...Nowhere near as much though. I don't know if that is good (indicator of a soon to be birth) or bad... please give me opinions, advice and anything else!

I don't know what to tell you, but I am sending hugs and prayers from Mississippi for you and for your mama to be.

anne was the excate same way hun . in her eyes they looked so scared , after over 3 hours of constant contractions vets finally said bring her in , i was getting ready when she birthed her first one , thank god.
then just over an hour later her 2nd came along.
what worrys me is you say she still hasnt any milk? if she has been contacting then she should have milk , sometimes there milk dont come in till a few hours after birth and an injection from the vet is needed to stimulate the milk. but i would deffently phone the vets back and see what they suggest. good luck let us know what they say.

I'm pretty sure it's normal for human babies to settle down when they're about to be born, but I don't know about kitty babies.
and good vibes!
